With an average age of 94, meet the world's oldest choir
Music, and particularly singing, is for everyone.
And a choir in the UK has proved it after setting a new Guinness World Record by forming the 'world's oldest choir'.
The group of 17 singers, who call themselves the Prime Timers, have an average age of 94, with the youngest member aged 87 and the eldest 99-years-old.
Conducted by English musician and singer Tony Christie, the group serenaded audiences at a hotel in the West Midlands this week wearing Santa hats and singing classics like 'Jingle Bells' and 'Silent Night' as they officially broke the Guinness World Record.
According to officials, the previous record for the oldest choir was set with an average age of 91 in 2013.
